Every few days I’m posting about a podcast
that I listen to and that I’d recommend you trying out.
Groove has slowly become a
fascinating record of who bass players are. Each episode is an interview with a
well known bassist and a chance for them to talk freely about their motivation,
techniques or anything else that the host, Mitch Joel, can tease out of them. A
glance at the running time of each show will give you a clue to how much
teasing is required. Some bass players just love to talk (ahem) and this
